Cardiovascular diseases such as heart diseases and strokes are two of the top three causes of death in Japan. Japan Heart Foundation was established in 1970 for the fighting against cardiovascular diseases.
First, we provide research grant specialized in the area of cardiology mainly to young investigators. We also support financially scientific meetings and clinical trials in cardiology.
Second, to the general population, we distribute various information for the education to prevent cardiovascular diseases through the internet, posters, pamphlets, lectures and other activities.
Thirdly, as a member of World Heart Federation, we participate the World Heart Day campaigns every year.
